Hamlet of Rosebud

The quaint artist community of Rosebud is located in the heart of the badlands, only a short drive from Drumheller. The community hosts numerous attractions including:

· Boutique shopping, art galleries, a centennial museum, and many comfortable accommodation options.
· Alberta’s only professional rural theatre.

Performances are staged at the Opera House and Studio Stage by an acting company made up of resident ensemble members, student apprentices (from Rosebud School of the Arts) and guest artists from around the world. Guests of the theatre are also treated to a buffet and live music in the historic Mercantile Dining Room. The Rosebud Theatre welcomes more than 30,000 guests each year. In the summer there’s live outdoor music on the Festival Stage.

· A range of unique bed and breakfast establishments.

Muirfield Lakes Golf Club

Start your tour with a round of golf at the beautiful Muirfield Lakes Golf Club.

The club offers a challenging links-style golf course for the most discerning golfer, while also very accommodating for the occasional golfer and those just learning the game.

The course is a par 70, 6,400 yards and you will be challenged by multiple water, sand, and tall grass features; however, the unprecedented prairie and mountain views will take your breath away!

EH Farms

Eh Farms is a family-owned, local Wheatland County pig farm specializing in the unique Red Mangalitsa Heritage Pigs. The Mangalitsa is one of the last breeds in the world to sport a wooly coat. They are also known as the ‘Kobe beef’ of pork. Having and raising them on our farm is my dream come true. Many don’t understand the dedication and care that goes into raising livestock. Sharing my story I hope to educate everyone about life on the farm and the vital role agriculture plays in their lives.
